1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all purchases made through whitebox.com.mt (the "Website"), operated by White Box Appliances, a sole trading entity registered in Malta, with principal offices at 69 Triq Fortunato Mizzi, Victoria, Gozo VCT 2578, Malta.
By placing an order on the Website, you ("the Customer") confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; the version in force at the time of your order shall apply.

2. Orders & Contract Formation
An order placed through the Website constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation (by email or WhatsApp).
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
- Product images are for illustration purposes. Minor aesthetic variations (colour shade, packaging) do not constitute a defect.
- All products are intended for domestic use only unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on the Website are in Euro (€) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Prices are valid at the time of order confirmation and may change without notice for future orders.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Pay on Delivery – Cash or card payment upon delivery of goods. This is our recommended method.
- Bank Transfer / Revolut – Payment details are provided after order confirmation. Goods are dispatched once payment is received and cleared.
- Online Payment (Stripe) – Secure payment via credit/debit card or Klarna. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and are subject to their terms of service.
Service fees (Installation, Removal, Door Reversal, Warranty+) are clearly itemised in your cart and order summary before checkout.
4. Delivery
We deliver throughout Malta and Gozo. Delivery is made to the ground-floor entranceof the specified address, or to the floor of the apartment if a suitable lift is available.

- Delivery dates and time slots (AM / PM) are selected at checkout and are indicative. We will contact you to confirm.
- The Customer must ensure clear and safe access for our delivery team. If the delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, a re-delivery fee may apply.
- The Customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any visible damage immediately to the delivery driver and to us (via WhatsApp or email) within 24 hours.
- Deliveries to upper floors without a lift, or requiring the removal of doors/railings, are not included in the standard delivery fee and must be arranged separately.
5. Installation Services
Installation services are optional and can be selected at the time of adding a product to your cart. All installation work is performed by our trained technicians or authorised partners.
Standard Installation – €25
Applicable to: Washing Machines, Washer Dryers, Dishwashers, Tumble Dryers.
Includes: Unpacking, connection to existing water, drain, and power points, levelling, and a test cycle.
Built-in Installation – €59
Applicable to: Built-in Ovens, Hobs, Fridges, Dishwashers.
Includes: Fitting the appliance into prepared cabinetry, securing, and connection to existing utility points.
Door Reversal – €29
Applicable to: Refrigerators, Freezers.
We reverse the door-hinge side to suit your kitchen layout.
Installation Exclusions
- Any carpentry, masonry, or plumbing work (e.g., extending pipes, cutting countertops, drilling into stone).
- Electrical work requiring a licensed electrician (e.g., new dedicated circuits, 3-phase connections).
- Installation where existing connections do not meet safety standards or manufacturer requirements.
- Gas connections of any kind – these must be performed by a licensed gas installer.
If additional work is required, our technician will advise you on-site. Additional charges may apply and will be quoted separately.
6. Old Appliance Removal (RAEE)
We offer an old appliance collection service in compliance with the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Old Appliance Removal – €10
Available for all large appliances on a 1-for-1 basis (one old unit collected per new unit purchased).
- The old appliance must be disconnected from all utilities (water, electricity, gas) prior to our arrival.
- Washing machines and dishwashers must be drained of water.
- The appliance must be in a position accessible to our delivery team (same access rules as delivery apply).
- We reserve the right to refuse collection if the appliance poses a safety hazard (e.g., leaking refrigerant, asbestos components).
7. Warranties
Legal Guarantee (2 Years)
All products sold through the Website are covered by the EU Legal Guarantee of Conformity for a minimum period of two (2) years from the date of delivery, as mandated by Maltese and EU consumer protection law.
- This guarantee covers manufacturing defects and lack of conformity with the product description.
- It does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs, or use outside the product's intended purpose.
- To exercise this right, contact us with your proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
Commercial Warranties
Some products carry an additional commercial warranty provided by the manufacturer (e.g., the Whitehaus 10-Year Motor Warranty). Commercial warranties are in addition to, and do not replace, the legal guarantee. Specific terms for commercial warranties are provided with the product or on the dedicated warranty page.
Warranty+ (Extended Protection) – €69
Warranty+ extends protection for an additional 3 years (total 5 years from purchase) and covers electrical surges and mechanical failure under normal domestic use. Warranty+ is available for selected product categories and must be purchased at the time of the original order. Full Warranty+ terms are available upon request.
8. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Under the Consumer Rights Regulations (S.L. 378.17 of the Laws of Malta), you have the right to withdraw from any purchase made online within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
How to Exercise Your Right
- Notify us in writing (email to sales@whitebox.com.mt) within 14 days of delivery.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to our premises unless the product is faulty.
- We will issue a full refund (excluding the original delivery fee, unless the product was faulty) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Important
- Products that have been installed (including built-in appliances) may not be eligible for return unless they are defective.
- Service fees (installation, removal, door reversal) already rendered are non-refundable.
- Returned products showing signs of use, damage, or missing original packaging may be subject to a restocking deduction.
9. Limitation of Liability
- White Box Appliances shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the products sold.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the Laws of Malta. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
In accordance with EU Regulation 524/2013, consumers may also submit complaints via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
